Editorial Reviews:
Marinades make food taste great - but what a mess they can be. Put meat or vegetables in the container, pour over the marinade, close with top cover. Now, simply turn it over every three or four hours. Special grids on top and bottom ensure marinade flows evenly around food. Plus meat, fish and veggies stay extra fresh, even overnight. Cool green for summer time cooking.

Still has a long way to go Jun 01, 2010
Used it just once so far. Sealed very well. Just had a little difficult time separating the container when it was time to cook.

I love this product Oct 25, 2009
A must have for marinating. I had my last one over 10 years. Had a little accident between the container and a hot grill. The grill won. Buy this product it works well and spreads the marinade evenly.
Season serve.... Aug 23, 2009
This is one of Tupperware's best product. Just put the meat in with the seasoning. Shake it up a bit then put it in the refrigerator. Every so often turn it over for best seasoning results. Or you can use it for cupcake holder. Well, really you can put anything in it to serve but I love the seasoning aspect of this product.
Great piece of tupperware...but for marinades? I dont know Jul 26, 2003
I bought this when I got tired of marinating in plates, bowls and mismatched plastic ware. I liked it. Tupperware is a great product, lasts forever (If you dont believe me, look at all the wintage tupperware on auction sites) washes well and over time will eventually become cost effective.
Having said all that...sometime after buying and using it, happily...I found that marinating meats (this doesnt work as well with chicken on the bone) is much easier and space saving if i put my meat and marinade in a ziploc...get all the air out and seal it. It takes up much less room in the fridge and requires alot less turning because when you remove the air the marinade surrounds the meat (depending on the thickness) more effectively.
I would say this is a good tupperware product if you need something of this size for multiple uses..and can justify using it many times for many things. I wouldnt buy it just for use to marinade or just for storage. I think if i had to buy it again..I would want to be able to say that I could use it several times a week for storing (baked good, maybe deli, snacks) marinading, transporting items...etc. I think that is the only way this would make a *solid* purchase.
