These were puchased for use outside. They are easy to hold and have a snap cap to keep out moisture.
The shakers are opaque so you can easily see when they are becoming empty. They also wipe clean easily.

Tupperware mini weatherproof S&P shakers

Purchased for use in a summer lakefront cottage that suffers heavy humidity. Pros: airtight, small enough for a small table but large enough to require only infrequent refill. Nice shape and color. Cons: Not eligible for free shipping when purchased with other items, so the overall price is way too high. Seems like an item that Amazon should stock and ship itself.

The salt shaker that works

These salt shakers are a real necessity for those of us who live in high-humidity areas. They close tightly and keep the salt flowing freely. The product is much improved over earlier types whose tops broke off or did not close securely.

A "little" salt and pepper

I always like shakers that you can close up and avoid humidity and used to buy the Rubbermaid ones in the store, but haven't been able to find. The problem with these Tuperware ones is that the holes are too small; most particularly the pepper.
